O2, Cancer Screening, Pulmonary Rehab in Spanish

Welcome to our fifth free audio lesson covering Spanish for COPD. This series reviews Spanish for patient education during an initial visit for COPD. In this lesson, the doctor discusses oxygen monitoring and therapy, lung cancer screening and pulmonary rehabilitation in Spanish.

The doctor explains that they are going to monitor the patient’s oxygen levels while walking at each visit. They are also going to set up a test to monitor her oxygen levels while sleeping because oxygen levels often drop during sleep in people with COPD. If her levels are low, he will be recommending oxygen therapy.

We always use the subjunctive following the conjunction of time ANTES DE QUE.
