Interview

Ángel (A): ¿A qué edad le diagnosticaron con la diabetes?
Doña Tere Rivas (TR): A los cuarenta años.
A: ¿Tenía síntomas de diabetes cuando le diagnosticaron? Síntomas de diabetes incluyen mucha sed, muchas ganas de orinar, y pérdida de peso de origen desconocido.
TR: No. No, no. No sentía yo…nada.
A: Entonces… ¿Cuáles fueron sus síntomas que la hicieron ir al doctor?
TR: Me tomaron una prueba allí en el seguro.

Molly (M): Ángel, ¿A qué se refiere cuando dice “el seguro”?
A: Ella se refiere al hospital de salud pública.
M: ¿Ella tiene que pagar cuando recibe servicios médicos allí?
A: No. Es un servicio gratuito para la comunidad.
