✅ Quizlet Embeds Are Out – There’s a Better Way!

Speak Spanish with our courses and Quizlet sets

Quizlet embeds are no longer displaying in our courses, but don’t worry. There’s a better way to access your interactive study sets. Discover what’s changed and how to continue learning medical Spanish with ease.

🎯 Here’s what’s going on:

The embedded Quizlet sets in our courses have stopped displaying properly. This is a widespread issue affecting many websites, and I’m currently adapting all courses to work around it.

✅ What I’m Doing About It

I’ve already started updating each course so that instead of an embedded Quizlet set, you’ll now see a direct link to the set on Quizlet.

Once there, you’ll be able to:

📈 Track your progress

🧠 Use powerful tools like Flashcards, Learn Mode, and customizable Tests

📚 Join the Quizlet Class linked to each course:

You will need to create a free Quizlet account to join the class and unlock these features, but once you do, you’ll be able to study the way that works best for you. I explain how in the video below.

🙋‍♀️ Why I Use Quizlet

I’ve tested many quiz platforms, and Quizlet continues to stand out for these reasons:

🧠 Spaced repetition to boost long-term memory

🛠 Configurable modes to match your learning style

🔤 Relaxed grading that forgives common typos

📊 Personalized progress tracking

But… I know it’s not perfect.

Having to leave the site and manage a separate login may be a hassle, and this might outweigh the benefits for some users.

📝 I Need Your Input 🙏

Could you please take a minute to share your thoughts in a quick 2-question survey?

Your answers will help me decide whether to stick with Quizlet or shift to a more seamless, but less customizable, solution.

Thank you for being a part of this learning community. I’m always looking for ways to improve your experience, and I truly value your feedback.

¡Gracias por estudiar español médico con nosotros!

¿Tienes alguna pregunta?

Don't be shy, leave a comment below! We learn better, learning together.

  • Have you had your wisdom teeth removed?
¿Le han sacado las muelas del juicio?
    ¿Le han sacado las cordales?
¿Por que usa “han” y no “ha” o “has”?

    • Hey there, Christine.

It is very common in Spanish to use the third person plural with the unspecified subject “they” when asking about undergoing a medical procedure. This literally translates as, “Have they removed your wisdom teeth?” However, the most natural translation in English is, “Have your wisdom teeth been removed?”

We talk about this at the beginning of this lesson:

And there are a few examples in our recent lesson on questions about gynecological health:

      I hope this helps.
