Palliative Care

In the free lesson below you will hear a Part 1 of discussion between a doctor and a patient's daughter regarding end-of-life care for her father. In the premium lessons, you will hear Part 2 of this dialogue as well as a lesson covering Advanced Directives in Spanish. The premium lessons are interactive, with pauses for you to interpret the essential vocabulary and phrases between English and Spanish. We also review key grammatical concepts. After completing the premium Palliative Care series, you will be comfortable discussing the following topics in Spanish:

1. Advanced Directives
2. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
3. A DNR order and less aggressive therapies at the end of life
4. Expressions of Sympathy
