Once a stroke patient is a thrombolytic candidate, explaining the treatment clearly is just as important as administering it. In this lesson, we walk through how to explain thrombolytic therapy for stroke in Spanish — what the medication is, what it does, and how and when it’s given.

In future lessons, we’ll go over contraindications and risks.
